The Alaska Men’s Run is an IRS 501 c3 Corporation. This annual event held in Anchorage is the one of the oldest activities within the State raising funds and awareness by using the race entry fees to fund educational activities, health awareness, promote early detection, and provide financial aid to men and agencies fighting prostate and testicular cancer. All proceeds stay in Alaska.
The UsToo Support Group is one of the only support groups in the state helping Alaskans face prostate and testicular cancer. During COVID-19, our team began meeting virtually via Zoom. Learn more at UsTooAK.com: please feel free to reach out and find the team you need!
We will consider any group that provides moral support and information, does research, or any other activities related to prostate and testicular cancer. We are an all-volunteer organization.
The race was established in 1996. Traditionally our course followed the Chester Creek Greenbelt, but this year we have moved our event to Kincaid Park!
Participants may choose to run or walk. In the 5-mile timed run, awards are given to age group winners, top male and female finishers, overall cancer survivors winner, and team awards. The race also has a 2-mile walk route. Events are open to men, women, children, and families. Teams and Military are encouraged to join.
